WYOMING STATE TREASURER'S
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Treasurer Gordon has appointed an advisory committee to provide periodic information exchanges and create additional transparency about operations of state investments and investment policies as the operations of state investments and investment policies can affect and are of interest to a number of professions, business and public officials.
The committee will receive quarterly investment performance reports and research papers developed by the state’s investment consultant, R.V.Kuhns and Associates and the Treasurer’s office; receive reports of significant issues or occurrences which may affect the operations of any major asset classes of the state portfolio or performance of individual asset classes; provide periodic observations, discussions and comments regarding the state’s investment policies and performance which would be condensed, summarized and forwarded to members of the State Loan and Investment Board as well as considered by the State Treasurer; meet semi annually, one meeting of which would create an opportunity for several of the state’s investment managers to discuss their investment strategies with members of the advisory committee and other members of the public who may wish to attend such a meeting.
This voluntary committee consists of representatives from the following groups: Wyoming state legislature, Wyoming local governments, Wyoming public schools, the Wyoming banking community, the Wyoming State Retirement Board, the Office of State Lands and Investment and the Wyoming investment community.
